I was out at around 7.30 last night and took these images of the night sky in all its glory. The last night of November. As I was looking up and watching the clouds. I felt happy, seemed that the clouds were saying good night sleep tight. Its December tomorrow.!
This image is from the other side of the garden... No, its not a fire..its the sun still going down. It was glorious . As quick as I saw it, it went down.
Yesterday afternoon I took these photos. I really thought that my little green frog would have disappeared with the heavy rains we have had. I was wrong, there he was cuddled up on another leaf. his eyes caught mine again. I was pleased to see him.
The Blue azure magpie- eating some of the horses rations..I caught them really enjoying themselves through my side widow.
Hay arrived . I just have to get some more plastic to cover it all.. But so happy that the horses now have more food. They are perky and happy too.
One of my last November roses.
Thank you to all my dear friends who left comments on my last post. I do try to reply.
There is a time difference between USA.. so comments will be later. To my American blogging friends.. I hope that you all had a peaceful Thanksgiving.-
Today the sun is shining bright. I am a sun person, its so great to be able to be outside a little.
I hope to catch up on all your blogs.
Wishing you a happy 1st of December.
Val.
Lucky you, having sunshine. It's constant gloom at the moment in the UK. Suzy x
ReplyDeleteReally great day today Suzy. thanks for coming to visit.
Deletealways glad when i get stocked up on feed and hay - gives a secure feeling to know the animals will be taken care of. :) lovely sky shots and sweet little frog. :)
ReplyDeleteIts a great feeling Tex. I agree with you.
DeleteDuring these last years, the horses have gone up to our top farm.. but since M passed away. I have to have them all year around.

Your night time pictures are great Val, and I love the little green frog. Our weather here has been dull and miserable and now getting colder. It was showing 5 degrees in the car today. Brrrr. Lucky you with some sunshine. I too haven't blogged much recently, finding it hard to get myself motivated. I think it's that time of year plus I'm not out with my camera so much.. I have thought about changing the format of my blogs from time to time, maybe not loaded with so many pictures and a bit more writing about factual stuff. I'll see. Have a great 1st December and a happy week.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit Sarah. The first image of the night sky was amazing. I am glad the little frog is around. I hope to see him again.
DeleteHello Val
ReplyDeleteThere is always activity around your home. The frog is adorable. Have you named him? I wonder what his life span is? Can you leave the bales of hay outdoors? Hope you have a great week
Helen xx
Hello Helen,
DeleteThank you for paying me a visit and leaving your comment. nice to see you. No.. I haven't named him!
The bales should be in the barn.. where they always are. Since M passing away..things have had to change. I hope to have a place for things next year.. its very difficult, keeping up with it all.
wishing you a good week too Helen. x
Wonderful pictures Val. That frog is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jen.
DeleteWe have had some evening skies like your photos, we have had some nice warm weather for a change but it is getting cold again tonight. I have to put my hay up on pallets to keep it dry as there is so much rain here.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sunnybrook for you visit.
DeleteOur weather is not that stable.. today, we have another clear day..but a little colder.
My hay is on pallets.. you just cant see them on the photo. I only brought a small amount down from the top farm. Dont want to ruin it. Have to make a new hay shelter.!!! it never stops
Hello Val, how beautiful is your red November rose. I enjoy your night skies, and happily the little green frog is still there. My favourite blue magpies also. Life is good in Portugal! Happy December my friend. xxxx
ReplyDeleteThank you Patricia, for your kind comment.
DeleteLife is good at the moment. I hope the sun keeps shining..even though its colder. x
Val,
ReplyDeleteThere's that little frog, he's so unique looking and neon GREEN! I've never seen one like this before. Can you believe it's already December - Christmas time, and my favorite season of all. Your red rose is still blooming beautifully this time of year. There's something about hay bales that make me smile. We see them around here in the Autumn mostly.
Have a wonderful week, Val.
love,
~Sheri
Thanks for coming over Sheri. So nice to read your comment.
DeleteChristmas is getting closer.
You cannot imagine how we all smiled and laughed when the hay arrived.. and the sun was shining.
Happy December to you also, Val. We are just the opposite from you. We are having heavy rain (which we really need) after all the sunshine. I am looking forward to a little snow, but the snow levels are still pretty high. Glad to see your little green guy is still around..Happy Tuesday..Judy
ReplyDeleteThank you Judy..
DeleteI hope our clear days hold out for a little while longer.. We have had very heavy rains. Its colder now.. will be lighting the wood stove weekend. Yes, my little green guy was there... gone now.
I am a sun person too Val - but we have a few more weeks of winter to get through yet - it won't be long before the days get lighter little by little and then we have spring to look forward to.
