  1. Hi Val! I love cinnamon... it's the smell of Christmas, for a start, of apple pie and it's just... so exotic!

When I started cooking Greek food I realized just how important and vital cinnamon is for many delicious dishes which find their origins in the East of Southern Europe (as much as, at the time I thought it was strange!) Greek Moussaka wouldn't taste the same, without cinnamon in it!

I will try some cinnamon tea, Val, and see how I like it! Though I think I might well have tasted it before. Cinnamon and apple is certainly a good "marriage" of flavours.

    HAPPY WEEKEND!

  8. Dear Val, Cinnamon is a wonderful spice! I often boil cinnamon sticks in water and then the tea bags like strawberry, orange etc. It makes a wonderful, warming beverage. As Anna mentions - cinnamon sticks are also an essential ingredients to some dishes. I sometimes make curry and then I add cinnamon sticks. Thanks for this inspiring post! YOu are just great! xxx Christa
