A few days

Sunday was a beautiful Autumn day.  It was so serene and quite around here.. just the birds singing, a light breeze .  Here Shila is enjoying some of the new growth.. her tummy seems to be getting bigger.!

Pascoa not far away.  Still enjoying the pastures and the sun upon their body after the rains.   They look at me, and tell me "life is good"

Always together.    It was 20 degrees on Sunday.  Today its 22.  such a perfect temperature.
This month is check up month.   Yesterday I went for my MRI.. in Lisbon.

The MRI ... this is what i looked like yesterday. checking my spine .. routine..after 3 spinal operations..it has to be done.

Next week more check ups.   All the usual.   Its time consuming, but must be done.
Wouldn't this be great...  ):-      Time does heal a lot of things.
I was happy to be home today.   Caught the 8.45 train back from Lisbon.

Another beautiful day here at Quintinha das Rosas.... the grass and flowers are loving the Autumn weather.   22º today.

Hope you are all well dear friends.

Wishing you a happy Tuesday.

Val

  7. So what kind of health insurance is over there. Is it expensive? Does it come from the country? Is it easy to get into a doctor? How often do you have these tests?

I hope everything checks out perfectly.

  11. I love the pictures of your horses, they look so content and obviously enjoying the sun on their backs. Hope yours is okay and trust your MRI will prove to be a good result. The weather here in Essex, UK has been gloriously sunny for the past week with just the occasional cloudy sky. However that's all about to change in the next day or two for colder climes. Take care Val.
