  1. Happy Sunday, Val: you published your post the same minute I posted one! How happy that we are blogging together. Your flowers always make me smile, especially the yellow roses. I don't think I have seen your white lily before - we call them Easter lilies, and I always associated them with feast days in the church. They are very spectacular. That is a nice red thingy you have hanging in your tree :) xxx

I showed the lily last year, but this year it has more blooms.
They were my parents favorite flower... I want to plant more for next year, they are so beautiful.
I think they are used for many occasions, indeed also in church. The red thingy.. is a red glass morroccan hanging candle holder.. a friend bought me.
      thanks for coming to visit.

  3. My wife planted a small flower rose yesterday. A student gave it to her on the last day of school. She has trouble taking care of plants so we will see what happens. I got her to mix some manure in the dirt at the bottom of the hole before planting it. Your roses look wonderful.

  4. Roses are pretty hardy plants. They need feeding every now and again and a good early morning watering.. twice or three times a week.
Thank you for your kind comment on my roses. I love them. I cannot have enough of them.
I wish your W. luck with her first rose.
    Happy Sunday. val
